We are currently preparing a service opener called "2000 years...". These are some thoughts that inspired the idea for the opener:
Relevancy: Every healthy church pursues it. Without it, we miss the chance to impact generations that are coming up beside us and behind us. We look to communicate our message on wave lengths that people may encounter within their day-to-day lives. Using the latest and greatest technological discoveries, we present the Message in ways that are thought provoking. We preach Christ and Him crucified through lights, media and mannequins.
Legacy: A legacy is established by sustained relevancy. If we can remain relevant, we will make history for generations to come.
Long before we came....long before the glamor of worship's modern appeal...long before mindless tradition could attempt to taint her image...there was THE CHURCH. Through THE CHURCH, God was shaking and changing nations before the bells and whistles of a mac-daddy sound board ever did. Long before we had stage lights, THE CHURCH was the beacon of His Truth. For 2000 years, she has been, is, and will always be RELEVANT!
So, here is your mission: Fill in the blanks. (short and sweet...as poetic as you wish)

The Church is Perfect "It Is Finished" - Complete - already done
1. two thousand years ago we (mankind) had a paradigm shift. all of the sacrifices that we read about in the old testament pertaining to sacrificial offerings were poured out on one man "Jesus Christ" he became a sin offering for us once and for all two thousand years ago he said "IT IS FINISHED".theres not much more you can do to top that. for two thousand years the church as been workers in the field

2. the church is a body of people that comes together we are the body of crist we are the hands and feet of jesus you see communion is a spiritual act when we eat the bread of life and we come together we make up that whole loaf that was broken for you.
3.she (the church) will be a beacon for all to see she is glorious and her beauty is white as snow .you see the bible says stand still and see the salvation of the lord .one day all flesh will see the salvation of the lord they will see the church.
